Atlantis will take you to depths of up to 120 feet in the channel between Maui and Lanai. Atlantis Submarines is your ticket to see it. Take a once-in-a-lifetime undersea adventure in an Atlantis Submarine, the world's first and most technologically advanced passenger submarine. You will journey into a spectacular blue world more than 100 feet below the surface in spacious air-conditioned comfort. Daily dives begin at 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and depart hourly from the Lahaina Harbor. Check in is at the Atlantis Kiosk located in the Harbor. A 15-minute cruise on the Atlantis shuttle vessel will take you to and from the dive site with panoramic views of all the islands. At the dive site you will board the 48-passenger submarine vessel, which will take you down 125-ft for approximately 50 minutes, to the majestic natural coral reefs and Hawaiian marine life. REEFDANCER: ADVENTURE UNDERWATER! -- MAUI'S HI-TECH TOUR AND DIVE SHOW AMAZES VISITORS -- GIANT TURTLES, OCTOPUS SIGHTED ON HAWAII'S REEF.  Not a submarine, not a glass bottom boat, it's even better . . . Colorful fish, coral, even octopus choose shallow water with lots of light. So, the deeper you go the less there is to see. Reefdancer cruises in shallow water where most life, light and color are. The boat stays on the surface, but its hull is actually a comfortable, air-conditioned UNDERWATER CABIN. There's more to see and it's easier to see it. You'll be in the perfect depth for reef viewing, but instead of a hole in the floor or a glass bottom you'll sit just under the water line, gazing out the oversized windows. So you're right down there with the fish instead of just looking at them from on top. Cameras are welcome. Your underwater photographs will turn out best if you take them on 400 speed film. The door to our upper deck is always open. You'll spend most of your time in the viewing cabin, but you can also visit the top deck any time.
