GRAND LUAU AT  WAILEA *NEW*

Enjoy a memorable celebration of song and dance of Hawaii, Samoa, Tahiti, Fiji, New Zealand, and Tonga including a magical hula culminating with the awe inspiring fire knife dancers.
Guests will be greeted with a lei and Mai Tai tropical drink. Authentic Hawaiian demonstrations will teach guests the customs and traditions of Hawaii.

HYATT REGENCY Drums of the Pacific:
The "Drums of the Pacific" - at the Hyatt Regency Maui, on beautiful Ka'anapali Beach! Settle in and wait for the sound of the Conch shell to blow, signaling the audience to turn and gaze across the horizon towards another sunset, and also view the uncovering of the traditional roast "Kalua" pork from the underground "Imu" oven!

After the master of ceremony greets you, prepare for a traditional Hawaiian blessing sounding like a raspy melodic prayer in tune with the crashing of the southern swell upon the coastline. This will come before the succulent all-you-can-eat-and-drink buffet which features Traditional Hawaiian Luau favorites, Island specialties, and other delectable desserts!

As you enjoy the wide variety of foods, prepare for a fast-paced and entertaining show produced by Maui's Spectacular, "Drums of the Pacific!" The cast of dancers will capture you in their tale of the journey the first Hawaiian islander's migration to these Islands.

As the evening winds down, be sure to sink in to your chair and savor the cool trade winds rustling the trees over-head and beckoning you to watch the fantastic fire-knife dance by Chief Fa'a, one of Hawaii's most dramatic, entertaining, and crowd involving masters of today! MAUI SUNSET LUAU -

Spend an evening in true "Hawaiian style" enjoying a luau feast and Polynesian show at this oceanfront
resort. The luau buffet will begin following the Imu ceremony where the pig is brought out of the Imu after roasting all day. The Luau buffet will include a variety of salads and fresh fruit, lomi lomi salmon, poi, Kalua Pig, fresh grilled fish, huli-huli chicken, char-broiled teriyaki steaks, Portuguese sweet bread, Hawaiian baked yams, and fried rice. The dessert selection will include haupia, banana cake with chocolate frosting, chocolate macadamia nut bars, pineapple upside-down cake and coconut cream cake.
  • A standard open bar, which will also offer Mai Tais and Chi Chis will be made available throughout the evening.
  • The Polynesian Show will feature traditional Hawaiian Hula, Tahitian drums and dancing, dancers from Fiji, Ulumaika, Pala'ie, (Ti Leaf Demonstration), Coconut husking, Imu (amazing art of underground cooking), Huki Ke Kalo (Audience Hula Participation), and a Samoan fire-knife dance finale.
