HYATT REGENCY Drums of the Pacific:![]() The "Drums of the Pacific" - at the Hyatt Regency Maui, on beautiful Ka'anapali Beach! Settle in and wait for the sound of the Conch shell to blow, signaling the audience to turn and gaze across the horizon towards another sunset, and also view the uncovering of the traditional roast "Kalua" pork from the underground "Imu" oven! After the master of ceremony greets you, prepare for a traditional Hawaiian blessing sounding like a raspy melodic prayer in tune with the crashing of the southern swell upon the coastline. This will come before the succulent all-you-can-eat-and-drink buffet which features Traditional Hawaiian Luau favorites, Island specialties, and other delectable desserts! MAUI SUNSET LUAU -![]() Spend an evening in true "Hawaiian style" enjoying a luau feast and Polynesian show at this oceanfront resort. The luau buffet will begin following the Imu ceremony where the pig is brought out of the Imu after roasting all day. The Luau buffet will include a variety of salads and fresh fruit, lomi lomi salmon, poi, Kalua Pig, fresh grilled fish, huli-huli chicken, char-broiled teriyaki steaks, Portuguese sweet bread, Hawaiian baked yams, and fried rice. The dessert selection will include haupia, banana cake with chocolate frosting, chocolate macadamia nut bars, pineapple upside-down cake and coconut cream cake.
