HALEAKALA
Imagine yourself soaring over gulches and through the trees along the slopes of one of the world's largest volcanoes. An adventure that blends a short hiking experience with four picturesque zipline crossings, the Haleakala Skyline Tour promises to be one of the most memorable activities you can do on the island of Maui.

A perfect adventure for anyone over twelve years of age, the Haleakala Skyline Tour has something for the whole family. Our specially trained staff will outfit you with a customized seat harness and equipment before leading you into the woods, and on to the adventure.

The tour starts with a walk through the woods in beautiful upcountry Maui, then gets your heart-pumping as you sail across each of our ziplines, and get a bird's eye view of the seasonal waterfalls and vegetation below. HIKE MAUI:Maui Hiking
Hike Maui offers a wide variety of expertly guided and narrated excursions. Hike through rainforests to waterfalls and pools, trek through Maui's greatest natural wonder, Haleakala Crater or explore ancient Hawaiian villages after snorkeling along a rugged lava coastline.

RAINFOREST AND WATERFALL HIKE: FULL DAY
Hike into tropical Hawaii along two streams that wind through a lush, enchanting valley. Pass through a profusion of fruit and nut trees, ferns and wild flowers. Hike through pastures and forests to several waterfalls 10'-35' high.

RAINFOREST AND WATERFALL HIKE: HALF DAY
Hike along a national park trail that follows one of the most magnificent streams on Maui, a network of pools and cascading waterfalls. Wind through dark forests of 60' bamboo that leads to a 400' waterfall.

HALEAKALA CRATER: HALF DAY
This we call the "Crater Sampler" We hike part way down both the switchback trail at 8,000' and the summit trail at 10,000'. We don't reach the crater floor, but we do experience the volcano's power and its silence, plus we have magnificent views from our vantage point up high. This is a good workout, giving a true feeling of the crater without being strenuous.

HALEAKALA CRATER: FULL DAY
Grandeur, majesty, vastness. Haleakala's subtle energy is intense and ethereal and it's absolutely silent. Here the first lunar astronauts trained. We hike along a spectacular trail overlooking the north side of Haleakala with canyons dropping 2,000'-3,000'. This ridge trail has panoramic views of the ocean on one side and the crater on the other. After descending to the crater floor we pass through huge slabs of lava and bizarre rock formations.
